Providence Cedars-Sinai Tarzana Medical Center

Dena Rigby Fine Arts was engaged as the art advisor for the new Providence Cedars-Sinai Tarzana Medical Center Reimagined Project (Tarzana, CA) to oversee all art-related needs for this joint venture. Described by Providence as, “the single largest health care construction project in the history of the San Fernando Valley,” this included the newly named Friese Family Tower. Designed by Perkins & Will Architects, the tower is a state-of-the-art five-story, 200,000-square-foot patient facility.

Rigby’s approach was to source artworks from artists and galleries in the Los Angeles area, prioritizing those with personal connections to the medical center. The artwork aims to promote healing, renewal, and reflection for the medical center’s diverse community.
