Surface & Symbol: The Diverse Language of Clay

The Capital One Art Program engaged Rigby as the designer and coordinator of the exhibition, “Surface & Symbol, The Diverse Language of Clay,” for the Capital One corporate campus during the 2020 National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts Annual Conference (NCECA). Through this exhibition, Capital One showcased the diversity of ceramics in nine solo and group exhibitions. Due to COVID-19, the conference was canceled, and Capital One facilities were closed to nonessential employees. Photographer David Hunter Hale had been engaged to photograph each installation. This highlight reel of his images captures the only record of the “Surface & Symbol” exhibition.
